Me: - 32 weeks & 4 days, I had only gained 1/2lb (amazing to me), a little protein in urine but blood pressure was fine. Measuring perfectly so baby is growing good. Asked about the period-like cramps I’ve been getting more often, looks like it could just be ligament pain and I need to drink more water.
Kyne: - 15 months, he is 19lbs 4oz and 31.5 inches. His weight curve fell off the chart and he only gained 5oz in 3 months, so the Dr was concerned. After talking about everything we’re all pretty sure it’s his diet. He doesn’t eat a great deal and is very picky! He will spit things right back out if he doesn’t want/like them.
He loves bread, bananas and some pasta. He does like pancakes and waffles (see the carb-trend here!) for breakfast and I usually give him cottage cheese and fruit for lunch. He drinks about 15oz of whole milk a day and then 1-2 cups of juice and water (2 parts water, 1 part juice). There are plenty of things he does like, but it’s dinner time where we are struggling. He doesn’t want to eat any of the dinners I make for the family.
Now we have to supplement with Pediasure and go back for a weight check in 6 weeks.
He also has his first ear infection, which we thought he did. He had told us he had a boo-boo in his ear and was fussy and restless on Saturday night.
Ricky had the day off so I took the opportunity to visit the dentist also - First time in about 2 years! I know, so bad. They wouldn’t do x-rays because of the baby, but I definitely have something going on with one of my teeth. I have booked an appt for 9/9 and hope the baby is here by then and I can get it fixed. The cleaning was very thorough and my teeth felt awesome after (NOT during though….hurt like heck…my gums are very sensitive!).
Overall a long day of appointments!
