I had my 30 week appt on Wednesday. Only 1lb weight gain this month so that was good. Everything else measured great.

I already got my hospital bag mostly packed………yep it is still early, but I like to get things done early instead of later and I am an organizer so it feels good to have it done.

I am now on to every-two-weeks appts…

As for names, I think we are going with Rhys (I know I keep saying that) and spelt that way. I just like the way it looks and yeah I know people might mispronounce it, but they do Kyne’s name also (how I don’t know!) and it doesn’t bother me….I just hope it won’t bother him when  he’s older. As for a middle name…..nothing yet, but Josiah did come to me last night while I was laying awake….I will have to see what Ricky says…….Rhys Josiah….any thoughts???

For now anyway.

We still need to take off the border in the babies room and hang up the canvas’ I made. Rearrange a few things in Talon’s room since Dish Network moved everything again! And get a changing pad that fits the dresser.

Kyne didn’t seem too thrilled with the move at first, but it’s been 3 nights now and he is sleeping better.

Friday we spent the afternoon with Becky at her moms pool. Kyne did not enjoy being in there one bit, but I come to find out later (after we got home) that it was because he wasn’t feeling well. He had a fever (102′ under arm). He felt hot while we were there, but I assumed it was because we were outside. He was way grumpy and clingy too…poor thing just wasn’t feeling good. Talon and Tayah had fun though!

I will take pics of the rooms later. I wish they were finished properly though, but I think that won’t happen for a while yet.

So yesterday evening our downstairs guest bathroom toilet started to overflow after Tayah had been potty (a bad potty too if you know what I mean! ) - Talon runs and gets me some towels and I am trying to clean it all up while it is still flowing everywhere…it was just gross!

Anyway most of it is up, and Talon and I start hearing this beeping noise. He runs around the house trying to figure out what it is and where it is coming from. I am still trying to clean the water up at this point, but I stop so I can try and discover the beeping.

It takes what seems like an eternity for the light bulb to go off in my head and realize it is the smoke-alarm that Ricky fitted under our house where the water heater is (just a safety precaution because our water heater is old and needs replacing). OK so the panic is on…as soon as I realize I tell the kids to get out of the house and pick Kyne up and we run outside. I am freaking out (Ricky of course is working late the ONE night I wished he was here)…Crit is on his way over anyway so I call him and ask if he’s close…he isn’t…I see our neighbor pull up (thank God!) and Talon runs over to get him. I have my pajama shorts on and Kyne is in a diaper…but who cares, I am panicking here! (the beeping was getting louder as we left the house too, so I am thinking there is a major fire down there..)

Anyway he rushes over and goes straight to the door and opens it….and well there is water everywhere…..it had shorted the smoke alarm and set it off!

OK in hindsight I should have used my brain and realized it was that….the heater is right below where the toilet flooded…..but I am 7 months pregnant and had 3 kids in tow..my brain wasn’t fully working. I didn’t even contemplate going to see if it was a fire myself or not….I just wanted the kids out and away from it!

So he takes the battery out and all is OK.

Crit gets there about 10 minutes later and we are smelling smoke BADLY outside. So he goes to investigate as I get the fire extinguisher. I get down there to hand it to him and he points to another neighbors back-yard fire and says it isn’t the heater!

So all is fine.

By this point I am so exhausted from it all I just need to sit down! For my first major house freak-out I think we did OK

We cleaned out the attic and took a ton of stuff to Goodwill. We got Talon’s closet mostly emptied and pulled out all of Kyne’s old baby clothes so I can wash and arrange them. I didn’t realize there was so much….3 large black trash bags and 2 small trash bags full of clothes! - Now I have to sort through it all and decide what to keep and what to donate.

I finished painting 6 canvas pictures for the little boys room. I copied them from the bedding sets they are having….cars, trucks, planes and a fire truck. I’ll have to take pics of them……they came out quite good.

I have a few things I need to list on Craigslist also - So I’ll have to get that done in the next few weeks.

We had a 3D/4D Ultrasound done on Saturday…what an amazing experience! We had a 3D done with Kyne at around 32 weeks I think, but this one was much better. It was so much more detailed and we got to see him doing lots of things. He is snuggled up against my placenta, so that was in the way a little bit…..but the pics still came out good. He has the cord up by his head and was constantly trying to grab it and root around to get it into his mouth…it was amazing. He had his eyes open a lot of the time also……you can see where the eye is darker in some of the pics, and that is where they are open.

We did another gender check also….he is still all boy. His legs were tight together and we could only see his back end, so no penis but you can definitely see his scrotum!

I think he will look like Kyne….the mouth and nose definitely do.

It was so hot last week that the kids and I didn’t dare go out anywhere, so we bought a $5 splash pool and set it up on the deck, under a gazebo. We put the kids climber with slide next to it and they have a ball out there.

Kyne goes out in his birthday suit (so I don’t waste swimmer diapers), with just his crocs on…he looks so funny.

As for exhaustion, well I have never been so tired in my life! Sometimes I don’t know how I manage to function. I am so weak most of the time and honestly just feel like laying on the couch all day. Even after drinking a coke I am tired and exhausted still. I can’t wait to have some energy back - My whine for the day

Talon is going to go into Kyne’s room and Kyne and the new baby will have his room. It makes more sense to have the 2 of them in the bigger room really and I need the closet space also (there is no closet in Kyne’s current room).

Talon isn’t thrilled with the idea, but I will make his new room look so good he won’t even care once he’s in there. I have some ideas and plans to make both the rooms look a lot nicer.

Tayah is staying put, and we did a big clear out of her room yesterday so it’s nice a clean now.

Goodwill is gonna love us in the coming weeks! I already have 3 bags and one full box to go just from Tayah’s room!

Here I am at 29 weeks….I am so big (fat) I can’t stand it! I can’t even write my weight down because I will cry Let’s just say I have a lot of work to do once baby gets here:

OK now I feel even worse! ha ha

His talking is just amazing! He can honestly say anything and everything now….and he does. He will copy everything you ask him to. His favorite words (which he says tons of times a day) are:

"Vacuum" (he is obsessed with it)

"Bug" (he loves them)

"Please" (he knows he has to say it to get things, so he says it all the time hoping he can have whatever it is he wants)

"Bye, goodnight" (and sometimes "I love you" but it’s not as clear yet)

He loves ‘talking’ on the phone also, and will have a whole conversation on there.

He has a little cut above his lip where he fell on one of those sharp round balls that fall from trees at the park.

I did it on Friday….what a waste of 3hrs! My mum said at least I got 3hrs away from the kids (Becky babysat), so that’s true…but still it was so boring and a waste of time.

Anyway at least it’s over now.

I got the results today (Tuesday) and my levels were perfectly normal, as I had suspected.
