We aren’t positive what happened….I turned it off at night and all seemed fine, the next morning it wouldn’t turn on.

So until we get it fixed, I am only online at work.

My bedroom is in a complete shambles…..as well as computer parts all over the floor, there are presents everywhere, clothes strewn about (that I will put away today) and wrapping paper/scissors/tape everywhere. I seriously have never seen it looking so awful.

I have to get to Wal-Mart to buy some more wrapping paper so I can get my room in order! My closet is stuffed full and I need the stuff out!

I just love it when my mum visits! We ate a lot, played lots of games, did a little “Christmas Day” and had a huge dinner with all the trimmings, went out to eat, did lots of shopping……it was just fun!

The only downside (apart from when they left of course) was Tayah was pretty sick from Friday until Monday. She didn’t eat anything until Monday evening! She had a fever, severe cough and kept throwing up. We spent most of Friday and Saturday in because she was too ill to go out anywhere.

Our Christmas day was on Sunday. We opened presents (lots) and then had a lovely dinner. Mum and I enjoyed some Eggnog which was really good.

The kids got tons of clothes, plus lots of toys. Talon got a Nintendo DS Lite as his main gift and Tayah got the Cook & Learn Kitchen.

Ricky and I got some perfume (well cologne for him), clothing, bath items and $200 each!

We saw the huge Christmas light display that a house puts up on a road near us…….they were fascinated by it. The day they left we ate at The Golden Corral…..yeah I know it’s hokey…..but man that place has good food…….I think I am the only one that eats the breaded livers and breaded okra though! Ha ha…..I had 2 plates of it!

While I was off work I received the letter telling me I am not eligible for subsidized daycare. I am so mad because the sums they did to see if we met income requirements were from Ricky and mines last paychecks only, why do they ask for the last 3 months worth if they only added up the last ones! Course on my last one I had a $460 Christmas bonus (it was just added into my salary though) and Ricky had tons of bonuses and incentive pays….what a crock! - I am calling them to schedule a hearing because I feel it is wrong.

Anyway in the meantime I am now quitting working in the day and doing some evenings and weekends to make ends meet. As of next week I will be partly a SAHM….wow…..

I will still work about 12-15 hours a week when I can……but Tayah will not be in pre-school any longer.

I am nervous…..but I think we will be OK.

Kyne is sick again. He is really being quite a handful today. He won’t stop crying and I am at work trying to get things done. We are launching a new site soon and have a ton of products to upload…well I literally can’t do anything with him here….ugh.

Today is Phoenix’s 1st Birthday….so happy birthday to him! Sure doesn’t seem like a year ago he was born. The years just fly-by for me.

My mum arrives tomorrow for a weeks stay. I have a ton more cleaning to get done before she gets here! I don’t even know why I bother though….not like she cares…..but I do.

I had a 20 long list of things to get done before she arrived and I only have about 5 things left…they are the big things though

Anyway Kyne won’t stop crying so I will write more tomorrow.

I actually ended up exchanging the hat for a smaller size, but kept the 12M sweater so he has room to grow.

We are all going….Ricky wants to be there so I don’t take no for an answer! ha ha

Yesterday we went to the mall after I got out of work. I had some things I needed to exchange at The Children’s Place (a coat and hat for Kyne), and we wanted to look around. I also found some cute Christmas gifts in Things Remembered (LOVE that store!) which I will be getting engraved soon.

I took some cute photos of Kyne the other day. I will have to upload them tonight.

I have it bad! Last night I could not fall asleep for anything. I was on Ambien for 7 days (which hardly worked anyway) and since I stopped taking it the nights have been even worse. Once I did finally fall asleep last night, I awoke early hours having a horrible nightmare about vampires (which both fascinate and scare me) and my old house in England.

So needless to say I am quite tired and irritable.

I think I may wean from the Zoloft if it continues.

The weekend once again passed in a blur because Ricky had to work. Saturday night we had Tyler and Brianna for a sleep-over. Talon was super happy and they all had fun! I had to threaten Talon with sleeping downstairs alone at around 10.30PM because of all the noise!

Sunday I made chocolate chip and oatmeal pancakes (as per Crit) and then Tony took Talon and Tayah back with him for the day. They all went to the Christmas parade and had fun. I stayed home with Kyne because I was tired and not feeling so great. We wrapped presents and had some learning-to-crawl playtime (he still can’t do it).

Today Ricky is at home with the kids while I work.

Kyne looks to be getting another 2 teeth…so he isn’t in the best of moods.
