I had another OB appt on 1/24 - Nothing new to report. Hadn’t gained any weight, and had the worst cold I’ve had in years.

This weekend we finally got to see lil’ bubba Phoenix for the first time. He is sooooo cute! So tiny! I could have sat there and held him all day…..but Ricky had to work so we only got to stay for a little while.

Not long now and he will have a little play mate! - Makes us even more excited for our boy to come! Although he is still un-named and still doesn’t have a room! Ha

Last night we were rudely awoken by one of Tayah’s toys setting itself off at 4.30AM…..making a whooshing sound all by itself! Of course I believe in spirits/ghosts……so there was no way I was getting back to sleep after that! - Reminded me of the time after I had my shoulder surgery and I swear I could hear the TV on downstairs and something moving around……scared my silly! So now I am super-tired, grumpy and have a headache! UGH!

The sickness has left our house! Yeah! - And I didn’t even catch it…..now that is very cool.

Tayah has been a complete grump since she was sick though. She throws awful tantrums! - It’s probably partly because she hasn’t left the house all week, plus she does have a slight cold also.

It snowed here yesterday morning, all of about 1/2 an inch….and like always the whole state shuts down! Schools closed, etc. The snow was gone by about 1PM! - Then even today Wake County had a 2 hour delay for schools…..not a flake in sight, and the roads were fine….really irks me.

Baby boy-no-name has been moving around tons this week. His feet/arms/elbows have started to kick/push/jab me right under my ribs. Braxton Hicks come every night, but only a couple.

Hopefully we will get Ricky’s W2 and the 1098 form we need so we can file our taxes soon and then get on with the attic conversion…..otherwise baby boy-no-name won’t have a room, or a name!

I am so fed-up with my household being sick! Ricky caught the virus Sunday morning……and he has been so ill. I’ve never seen him like this.

Tayah finally seemed to be doing better on Sunday, the played fine and ate OK. She didn’t eat dinner though….shoulda suspected something was up then.

I couldn’t sleep in the bed with Ricky coz he was tossing and turning and getting up for the bathroom every 5 minutes, so I went up and got into Talon’s bed (I sent Talon back to his dads Sunday night). I’d been in there 2 minutes when I hear Tayah vomiting…..and OMG did she vomit! It was so gross…..thick, smelly……everywhere! I had to bathe her and change all the bed linen. I achieve this in about 15 minutes, then get back into Talon’s bed. Not 15 mins later and I hear her again…….yup, even more…..all
over the clean bed linen and her clean jammies! So I change her again, get back in bed and lay there praying it doesn’t occur again coz I have no clean sheets/blankets! -

Ugh, I am so done with all this sickness. I sure hope I don’t get it, coz from what I’ve seen (and cleaned-up!), it is awful.

I had an OB appt on 1/10 - Along with my Glucose test…….the drink isn’t as bad as everyone makes out…..there was just a lot of it (10oz), and I had to drink it all within 5 minutes and not long after my breakfast.

My weight was 147 lbs! - BP 100/63 - FHR 160 - Fundal Height 28 cm - I was 27 weeks 4 days, so right on track. My appts are now every 2 weeks, which is highly annoying. I go back Jan 24. They said they would call if my numbers were bad for the GD. No call yet, so I am assuming all is well. I doubt I would have it anyway…..even though my mum is diabetic.

OK I spoke too soon; Ricky just called to say Tayah has thrown-up everywhere!

Oh dear, looks like it is spreading.

Crit had it for 3 days and his was really bad!. I hope it doesn’t get as bad for the kids.

Another update - 1 hour later and she is still throwing up……just stopped and is now dry-heaving. Poor thing.

I spent the evening on the couch with her, throwing-up every 15 minutes. She was so sad, crying every time she was gagging. It was horrid. The last vomit came around 7.15PM so I waited until 8.15 and put her to bed, with the door open. Didn’t hear a peep from her…..she was so tired. This morning
she managed to drink a Pediasure that Crit had bought round and some water. She didn’t eat anything, but Ricky said she threw-up again, so I think we’ll stick to water for a while longer.

Jan 8 -

Talon returned to us from his dads…..full of life. He loves the new house, and was super excited to be there.

Unfortunately the night didn’t end as well as I thought it would. At 10PM I heard some thumping upstairs, sounding like thunder! I got out of bed and was running to go upstairs when I see Talon running down, vomiting all over the carpet. I pull him into the downstairs bathroom, and he continues to be sick in there. Ricky had just walked in from work at the same time; lucky for me……coz the vomit was everywhere! - He had caught his dad’s stomach virus.

For some weird reason he didn’t go to his bathroom when the vomit started…..he ran downstairs and proceeded to vomit all in his room, down the stairs and at the bottom of the stairs…..nice!

He then had a bad case of diarrhea…..while also not being able to stop vomiting.

We slept him on the couch that night, with towels and a bucket…..he was hurling all night……and none of us got any sleep….it was horrid.

He didn’t eat the next day, and barely ate yesterday, and still hasn’t eaten much today. Hopefully it has all passed now without any of us getting it.

Jan 7 -

My baby girl is 2! WOW

She is so smart, intelligent and beautiful. We are so blessed to have this wonderful girl as our daughter. She talks non-stop, is pretty much fully potty-trained (in the day only) and is so much fun. Sure, she has her moments (attitude), but she is still a joy.

With the move and everything, we hadn’t planned on doing anything too elaborate. She had some presents and cards from our families to open, and we got her a leap-pad.

Later in the day Ricky popped out and got her a little birthday cake and balloon, which she loved. She didn’t quite get the concept of blowing out the candles, but she sure enjoyed eating the cake.

Jan 6 -

Got everything done! Yay! - Wasn’t too difficult either…..

Ricky had got so much done throughout the week in the mini-van, so him and Crit only had 2 loads to do in the truck.

We only forgot 2 things……the grill and Talon’s bike (they were both out back). We will get them this week sometime.

The heat doesn’t work in the house though, and I think we have figured out that it is gas……and well we didn’t have the gas turned on! Ha

Jan 5 -

Most of the house is packed up, and we are staying over at the new place for the first time. The only things left are the couches (3), the computer desk and most of the kitchen stuff. We are doing that tomorrow with the help of Crit and his truck. The fridge and washing machine arrive today also.

Jan 2 -

My family left today, and I am sad. It was so nice having them here……even with all the mess my brother makes! Ha ha. They helped so much with packing up the house, and we really appreciated it. Gale lent us her van for the week so most of the time we managed to all ride together. The van also helped with moving boxes and furniture!

We had a fun New Year, well the younger ones did……my brother, his girlfriend and Julia’s granddaughter Shaan got quite drunk! Adam’s (my brother) girlfriend Olivia got trashed and passed out! Ha ha - I have a nice photo of her which I will have to upload!
