Kyne is leading RJ onto a bad path…I know he is bored and I know he isn’t getting all the stimulation he needs at home (we stay home a lot since I became pregnant, and he’s out of preschool for the summer), but he is driving me insane. I feel so guilty when I get angry and then I feel sad because it’s my fault…but he knows better and he knows what he’s doing is wrong.

Today he poured nail polish all over the front room carpet (while I was in the shower). It won’t come out of course…so our new carpets are ruined.

I told them both off (RJ was in on it too – covered in nail polish) and sent them upstairs to play in the playroom until lunch time.

Well Kyne knows how to open Talon’s bedroom door now (it has the door handle lock on) and he got out Talon’s Alien-Martian maker (bright colored gel that you ‘bake’ into molds) and poured all 4 colors over the carpet upstairs.

I am just done with his behavior today.

My fault I am sure…but I am done.

My three youngest…they are growing and changing so fast. Tayah turned 5 in January and starts Kindergarten in July. She is very ready!

Kyne turns 3 in a couple weeks. He attends Tayah’s preschool now and really enjoys it. He is such a smarty-pants

RJ will be 2 in August. He will be starting preschool Aug 16, along with Kyne. I will have 2 mornings a week completely free of kids for the first time in…well, I don’t even remember, but a LONG time. He is so clever and funny. He says everything possible, is a real talker just like his brother.

My oldest:

Talon starts a new school in July (the same one Tayah is going to). It is a year-round school so I’m really happy with that. He will be 10 in April…yes…TEN! wow…amazing. I will have a 10 year old child.

Our smallest (by age, not size!) boy is now a full-fledged walker! – He started to take some real steps June 20 and by June 21 he was walking all over the place.

As of today he is a pro and literally runs across the room at times. He is so funny

They’ve never had baths in the sink before. Daddy thought it would be a quick and easy way to clean them up after a messy dinner. It wasn’t.

Just been super-busy with life in general (and 4 kids). Time just flies by and before I know it a month or so has passed.

All the kids are doing good – No sickies for awhile (fingers crossed I don’t jinx things!).

Talon took his EOG tests last week…then took retakes – He ended up not passing his reading, which we were so shocked by because he is a pretty great reader…even his teacher was shocked. We’re hoping his great class scores will help him not be kept back in 3rd grade.

He also graduated into the Webelo’s at Cub Scouts! We all went and hung out at the campsite for the day and then watched him crossover. The kids had a blast! It was a lot of fun..Kyne ate too much popcorn and threw-up all over his bed that night though

Tayah has just completed her first session in gymnastics and is moving up to Level II – She really loves it and I am glad she gets to do something all on her own (with just mommy watching).

Kyne has hit the terrible two’s stage. He is demanding, whiny, physical…but still awesome – He loves to do imaginary play with Tayah and they can play cars all day long. He regressed with the potty training and will no longer use it at all

RJ is growing up into a beautiful, sweet little boy. He took his first steps on Friday (May 29) and loves to stand up on his own. He says quite a few words now (RJ, Tayah, bad-boy, uh-oh, num-num, up and a few more). He still has no teeth..but eats better than Kyne ever did at this age (and Kyne had at least 4 by now). He weighs over 20 lbs now (and Kyne is almost 24lbs) and wears the same size clothes as Kyne (shorts and onesies only).

I love when they wear these outfits…not only are they super-cute, they also hold-up really well and are so comfy.

Kyne’s appointment went remarkably well! I was amazed at how good he was. I let them give him 1 vaccine (he hasn’t had any since 9 months) to catch-up to the schedule and they did a finger-prick to test his blood. He cried for about 10 seconds with the vaccine, and only for a second with the prick…he was such a brave boy.

As for his weight…he is finally back on the charts! He is at the 4th% weighing in at 23lbs 4oz! – We were all very pleased to see this. He is also 35 inches long…so tall and skinny.

We went to the park when daddy got home because he was so brave!

Mum arrives today so I gotta finish my cleaning Sooooo excited!

We had Crit & Phoenix and Becky & her family over to enjoy some cake (and a few snacks).

If you asked Kyne how old he was, he would always say “three”. It was so funny. He acts like he’s 3! So we let him off.

As soon as Crit turned up he runs over and says “It’s my birthday!!…it’s MY BIRTHDAY!” It was hilarious.

Unfortunately, this morning he woke up with his eyes ‘glued’ shut with gunk just like RJ had a couple months back. He has his 2yr check-up tomorrow (I can’t wait to hear how much he weighs…he eats so good now!) so I will no doubt get a script for antibiotics then.

Yucky, swollen eyed face. He looked terrible. I cleaned him up and they eventually went down. He’s napping now so I’m sure they will be swollen and gunked shut again afterwards.

It amazes me he is 2 years old already. Seems like just yesterday that he was born.

This little boy brings so much happiness and joy to our lives. We love him beyond belief. I thank God every day for sending him to us.

I’ll post more tomorrow. We’re having Becky and her family over and Crit and Phoenix too. I ordered a great Tonka Truck cake that he is in awe of! (Whipped frosting too, Becky!!!! )

I like them. Things are going OK with them so far. I only have 3 and so far I use them at night for both Kyne and Rhys. They have held up really well apart from last night when I forgot to put the doubler in Kyne’s and he leaked ALL over the place.

I chuck all 3 (I use 1 in the day also on Rhys) into the washer in the morning and that’s it.

On a side-note…my washer has started to smell something awful! – Like something is rotting in it…anyone know what I need to do? Maybe a vinegar cycle or something like that? It’s really gross. It doesn’t make the clothes smell or anything like that…it just stinks a couple of days after the last use.
